So it's been 2 1/2 years since I came home from Paris, and now I'm about to set off on my next European adventure :-) I unexpectedly got a scholarship to spend the summer in Konstanz, Germany--I'll be focusing on learning German and doing some pre-dissertation research. Right now I'm getting ready to leave, trying to finish my final exams, learning some German before I go (since I don't speak a word right now), and getting everything organized!
I finally have my housing set up, as well as my airport pick-up, and am getting a few last-minute logistics into place. But I'm excited to be blogging again, and to be learning a new language.
I'll write next once I get to Germany, on May 2nd!
